Our Story
Faith Tabernacle was started on January 1st, 1982 by a small group of believers. In January of 1983, Brother David Yancey was voted in as pastor. For the first fourteen years, services were held at the Vinson Valley Campground in Byron, Ga. In 1996, construction was completed on the new building located on Main Street in Byron, GA. Brother David Yancey faithfully served as pastor until 2023 and continues to inspire the future generations with his dedication and commitment to serving the Lord. In August of 2023, Brother Joseph Yancey was voted in to fill the role as pastor.
